My dream as long as I can remember was to be an artist! It has been my paramount desire and goal, and in many ways I feel incredibly lucky to have found a way to make a living that is my passion, makes me happy and is down right FUN!My dream as long as I can remember was to be an artist! artistic journey started early in my childhood, being raised in a family of
artists in Great Falls Montana, I was encouraged to express myself
creatively and develop an artistic sense about my life and the world
around me. I was influenced greatly by the impact of local western
artist, CM Russell, as everyone there was. His contribution was enormous
and created an active art community which has allowed generations of
young artists to see that, being an artist is something you can be!

fell in love early on with the creative process and continued to visualize
outward on my journey, experimenting in the visual arts, music and
performing arts. From my early school years through college, my desire to
paint was seriously supported by a following that provided artistic support
and sales. Early on professionally, my journey presented me with
projects in the performing arts at the Worlds Fair in Spokane, then to the
scenic art shops in Hollywood. Working on film and TV projects, and with
entertainers where I continued to paint throughout this period. My access
to these artistic elements continued to inspire the desire to work towards
a career as a artist.
It was at that time that I took an
aggressive approach to marketing my art in Los Angeles. I literally went
door to door in office buildings on Wilshire Boulevard pursuing leads. I
found a market niche with corporate interiors, a niche that has served me
well and is still providing exciting opportunities 35 years later.
These days I continue to develop a broader palette, creating abstracts and
landscapes, commissioned artworks, and publishing reproduction prints of my
originals. I continue to branch out and bring more of my interests
into the imagery of my work, as in my Abstract Fly Fishing Flies, and the
more intimate landscapes that reflect my love of the woods, waterfalls, and

third decade of my career, I still feel an excitement each morning when I
go into my studio and begin my days work, the possibilities seem
