The Change of Season is upon us!

 With the change of season we celebrate the many signs of nature that define Autumn.

Here, in one of my latest paintings, I celebrate the return of the Chinook Salmon to their spawning grounds, an annual ritual here in the Pacific Northwest.

As in recent years, It features a heavy impasto texture to the canvases, which adds a nice textural quality, especially in these rocky areas of a waterfall and stream drainage.
